Mass Media

Mass media is a concept that includes different means of communication and also implies the existence of a massive audience. They have shaped our society and culture for centuries as they have existed since ancient times, but we often make the mistake of thinking only about the most recent ones.

  • Can you identify the following?

  •   Insert them in two big groups:

  • the print media: ______________

  • the broadcast media: _____________

  • Build a timeline with the media shown in the picture.

    • Where would you include theatre?
    • And the social networks?
